Disney and Marvel Studios have postponed the release of Deadpool 3.

The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman movie, whose original release date was slated for September 6, 2024, has now been postponed by two months. The new release date is November 8, 2024. Marvel is always changing the release dates of their films, most recently putting Blade on hold.
Following a previous draft by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin of Bob’s Burgers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing Deadpool 3. It would keep its R rating, much like the studio’s previous two movies, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, had told fans, making it the first film made by the corporation to carry the aforementioned adult rating.
It will be the first installment in the Deadpool film series to be published following Disney’s takeover of 20th Century Fox.
The first two Deadpool films were likewise commercial successes, grossing over $1.5 billion globally. Both were co-written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and were directed by Tim Miller and David Leitch, respectively.
