
Hugh Jackman is in the news once more after posting recordings of his challenging workouts for the upcoming Marvel film Deadpool 3. Fans have been anticipating the Australian actor’s return as the X-Men hero by seeing snippets of his intense workout regimen as he teases them with glimpses of Wolverine in action.
Hugh Jackman posted a video of himself engaging in a difficult exercise on Twitter. Jackman can be seen pushing himself to the limit in the video as he prepares for his upcoming Deadpool 3 role as Wolverine. “I’m #becomingwolverineagain,” the title for the video, alludes to the commitment and meticulous training needed to once again assume the role of the beloved X-Men character.
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds both reprise their roles as the Merc with the Mouth and Wolverine respectively in Deadpool 3. The two characters have a lengthy comic book history together, but they haven’t been together on the big screen since X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.
20th Century Fox produced the first two Deadpool movies before The Walt Disney Corporation acquired the studio. The first film in the trilogy, dubbed Deadpool, will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Deadpool 3 is being directed by Shawn Levy, who previously worked with Ryan Reynolds on the movies Free Guy and The Adam Project. The Real Steel team of Hugh Jackman and Levy will reunite for another Marvel Studios movie.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the scripts for the franchise’s previous two films, are currently working on Deadpool 3. The project’s earlier draft was worked on by the Molyneux sisters.
