Comic book movie fans were quite disappointed that Ryan Reynolds‘ third Deadpool movie wasn’t officially announced during Marvel Studios’ D23 Expo 2022 event. It has long been established that the project is in production, and it will in fact continue the plot of the first two movies from the now-defunct FoxVerse.

The Canadian actor has been teasing what fans may anticipate from the Merc with a Mouth’s MCU debut for the past few months. Well, it appears that all the speculations and conjectures around Wade Wilson’s appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are accurate, and this latest revelation will undoubtedly blow everyone’s minds.
Reynolds acknowledged missing D23 this year on social media but reassured Marvel fans that they are working extremely hard on the next Deadpool movie. Hugh Jackman makes an appearance at the conclusion of the film and is asked whether he would like to reprise his role as Wolverine. The Australian actor replies, “Yeah, sure, Ryan.” The scratched Deadpool logo that appears at the conclusion of the trailer essentially verifies that Logan will be in the sequel. Look at it here:
We’re not exactly sure if this means Jackman will play the MCU’s official Wolverine, but the news that he will return to the part that he made famously is a huge victory for Marvel fans everywhere. Hopefully, Reynolds isn’t playing around and Jackman will genuinely be given a significant role in the production. In the MCU, things are undeniably getting more crazy!
The production of Deadpool 3 is underway.
