The CW has released the first trailer for DC’s Stargirl Season 3, which continues to tease the adolescent superhero series’ comeback. It is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, August 31.

The Stargirl Season 3 trailer, which you can watch below, teases the entrance of Joel McHale’s Starman, which offers an excellent opportunity for Courtney to discover the full scope of the team. It also foreshadows a dispute between Pat and Starman, who is enraged that he gave the surviving members of the Injustice Society a chance to alter themselves despite the fact that they were responsible for the deaths of many of their superheroes friends.
Brec Bassinger, Cameron Gellman, Yvette Monreal, Trae Romano, Amy Smart, Luke Wilson, Meg DeLacy, Anjelika Washington, and Joel McHale feature in Stargirl. Season two-starred Ysa Penarejo, Jonathan Cake, Nick Tarabay, Alkoya Brunson, and Jim Gaffigan, as well as John Wesley Shipp, who played Jay Garrick in the Arrowverse.
The series follows high school senior Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) and her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) as she leads an unusual gang of teenage heroes to carry on the heritage of the Justice Society of America, DC’s very first superhero squad.
Geoff Johns, who invented the character, is also producing under his Mad Ghost Productions brand alongside Greg Berlanti and Berlanti Productions. The first season premiered on DC Universe, however, a second season was later added.
