Daredevil: Born Again brings The White Tiger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Daniel Richtman, the White Tiger will appear in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again on Disney Plus. The insider joins a recent report from Giant Freakin Robot that connected Jenna Ortega to the role in asserting that the character will appear in the upcoming Daredevil revival. As of publication, the casting has not yet been verified.
The first version of the White Tiger, known as Hector Ayala, made his appearance in 1975’s Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #19. The White Tiger was created by George Pérez and Bill Mantlo. Since Hector, there have been four additional White Tigers, with his sister Ava being the most recent.
Daredevil: Born Again is Marvel’s biggest Disney Plus project to date with its 18-episode first season, though plot details are being kept under wraps. The streaming service’s original series is written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, and New York City-based filming is scheduled to start early in 2019.
Elden Henson’s portrayal of Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock’s closest friend, and business partner, is rumored to appear in Born Again. Deborah Ann Woll previously indicated that she would be interested in playing Karen Page once more for the Disney Plus series. Along with Matt, Karen and Foggy were two of the main characters of the first season of the Netflix series Daredevil.
Currently set to debut on Disney Plus in the spring of 2024, Daredevil: Born Again.
