The Creed III Super Bowl trailer previews a huge confrontation between Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors.

As Adonis Creed, the son of the well-known Rocky character Apollo Creed, Michael B. Jordan, who has established himself as one of the most outstanding performers of his time, returns to the role. Adonis is having a hard time dealing with his history and the expectations that come with being the son of a renowned fighter in Creed III. The introduction of the new antagonist, Damian Anderson—played by burgeoning actor Jonathan Majors—adds to this internal struggle.
As Damian Anderson in the Creed series, Jonathan Majors, who will soon be seen as Kang the Conqueror in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is introducing a new level of intensity. In the Creed III previews, Dame appears to have a personal grudge against Adonis, suggesting a complicated relationship between the hero and the antagonist.
Michael B. Jordan makes his directorial debut with Creed III, continuing the careers of Steven Caple Jr. and Ryan Coogler. Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin wrote the script for the third Creed movie.
Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors are joined by Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed, Wood Harris as Tony “Little Duke” Evers, and Florian Munteanu as Viktor Drago in the film Creed III. Along with them, Canelo lvarez, Mila Davis-Kent, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Selenis Leyva, and Thaddeus J. Mixson are playing unspecified parts.
A Creed spin-off movie centered on Viktor Drago, the father of Ivan, the antagonist of the 1985 movies Rocky IV and Creed II, is also being developed by MGM in addition to Creed III. The screenplay is being written by Robert Lawton as a result of his spec story on the production of the first Rocky movie.
