The theatrical release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has finally arrived.
The sequel, directed by Sam Raimi, follows Doctor Strange on his voyage to the Multiverse, where endless possibilities abound and MCU characters from major properties might reappear.
The Doctor Strange sequel was largely expected to include incredible appearances from characters from previous films. When the film eventually entered cinemas, fans were on the edge of their seats to see Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, Lashana Lynch’s Maria Rambeau Captain Marvel Variant, Anson Mount’s Black Bolt, Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter, and John Krasinki’s Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four return.
While fans laud Professor X’s return to the MCU, which appears to imply that the X-Men may return to the MCU sooner than expected, fans also lauded John Krasinski‘s debut as Mr. Fantastic, and it appears that the long-awaited franchise revamp is finally in the works.

However, the Fantastic Four will not be complete without their arch-nemesis, Doctor Doom. And now that Krasinski‘s Reed Richards has made an appearance in the MCU, it looks like Marvel fans have found their Doctor Doom in Cillian Murphy, the lead actor in Netflix’s Peaky Blinders.
One thing is certain: Cillian Murphy, the multi-award-winning actor, would surely play Doctor Doom to perfection.
Given the actor’s flexibility and extensive acting history, the MCU should definitely contact him.
Murphy may not be the ideal match for the MCU for the time being, since he is currently acting in Christopher Nolan’s next film, Oppenheimer.
Who knows, though. Mister Fantastic’s casting as John Krasinski appeared to be impossible at one time, but if Marvel can cast Krasinski, they can certainly cast Cillian Murphy in the mega-franchise.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still in cinemas throughout the world.
