In new behind-the-scenes set photos for Fast & Furious 10, called Fast X, Charlize Theron confirms her comeback. With 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, Theron debuted in the franchise as Cipher, a cyber-terrorist who blackmails Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto into helping her seize nuclear weapons. By the end of F9, Cipher has been kidnapped by Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody, but he manages to get free and go for Dom (and his brother, John Cena’s Jakob Torretto). Cipher ultimately misses her purpose and flees, posing a continuing threat to Dom and his team.
Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang star in Fast X, which is directed by franchise regular Justin Lin and stars Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang. Aquaman’s Jason Momoa, as well as Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson in an unnamed role and The Suicide Squad’s Daniela Melchior in a mysterious part, have joined the cast as the film’s principal villains. There are lots of other actors who have previously participated in the franchise who may return, but those are the ones who have been confirmed so far.
However, one more recurrent cast member may be added to the Fast X mix, as Theron has posted some behind-the-scenes set photos showing Cipher returning for the next installment and wearing yet another new haircut, as has been her signature thus far. Theron’s Cipher has longer locks this time around, according to the black-and-white pictures, and she looks to be keeping her unique outfit. The photographs also show two armed and armored bodies, implying that there will be a death toll in whatever action Theron is filming. Take a look at the photos of Charlize Theron below:

While the cast announcements for Fast X have been signed so far, it’s probable that they’ve been holding back in order to keep a few surprises for viewers when the film comes out. Throughout the production of Fast & Furious 10, there will undoubtedly be additional casting additions, whether it’s older characters from the franchise, guest appearances, or even possible resurrections, as has been the case in the past.
