Chadwick Boseman was given a posthumous Creative Arts Emmy Award For his work in ‘What If…?.’

Chadwick Boseman‘s final appearance as T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was featured in the animated series What If…? after his unexpected death in 2020. His most memorable episode had a special memorial to him at the conclusion, showing a reality in which T’Challa became Star-Lord rather than Peter Quill (Chris Pratt).
Chadwick Boseman has recently been honored with a posthumous Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for What If…?, around a year after the show’s Disney Plus debut. The following is how Marvel Studios acknowledged the accolade on their official Twitter account:
Natalie Portman, Josh Brolin, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Jeffrey Wright, Hayley Atwell, Mark Ruffalo, and other prominent figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe all lend their voices to the animated series.
Disney Plus now offers the whole first season of What If…? for streaming.
