“Bullet Train,” a new crime thriller starring Brad Pitt and directed by David Leitch, the director of “Atomic Blonde” and “Deadpool 2,” has debuted its official trailer.
“Bullet Train,” based on Ktar Isaka’s novel “Maria Beetle,” stars Pitt as Ladybug, an experienced assassin who boards a bullet train and meets up with several other professional killers, including Prince (Joey King), Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), and Hornet (Brian Tyree Henry) (Zazie Beetz). Kimura (Andrew Koji) is also aboard the train, a parent seeking vengeance after Prince placed his son in a coma. The assassins immediately discover that their numerous targets are all linked, and their missions swiftly spin out of hand.
The teaser features dramatic, fast-paced action scenes paired to “Stayin’ Alive,” as well as Leitch’s signature distinctive style. Brad Pitt and his co-stars engage in vicious battles across the train’s numerous compartments as they strive to complete their goals.
“Bullet Train” boasts a huge ensemble cast, including Masi Oka, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock, in addition to the actors portraying the many killers. Lady Gaga was supposed to portray Bullock’s part, but she had to withdraw out owing to schedule difficulties with “House of Gucci.” Columbia Pictures, 87North Productions, and Fuqua Films are producing the picture, with Leitch acting as one of the producers with Antoine Fuqua, Kelly McCormick, and Kat Samick.
“Bullet Train” will hit cinemas on July 15th. Here’s a link to the entire trailer.
