Today, A24 revealed the first trailer for its dark comedy titled Bodies Bodies Bodies, which is planned to be released in theaters on August 5th.
Directed by Halina Reijn, the project is advertised as a new and humorous look at betrayal, fake friends, and one side that went very awry. When a group of 20 rich people plans a hurricane party at a distant family villa.
The satirical movie stars Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Lee Pace (Foundation), Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby), and Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live). In addition, “Bodies Bodies Bodies” will premiere at the 2022 South by Southwest Film Festival. The project is produced by David Hinojosa and Ali Herting and its script, which was based on a story by Kristen Roupenian, is penned by Sarah DeLappe.
Recently, A24 released sci-fi drama After Yang (Kogonada), horror-thriller X (Ti West), and Everything Everywhere All at Once (Daniel). Moreover, there are two other forthcoming projects.
