A forthcoming promotional tie-in for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has teased the first glance of Okoye and Shuri.

Thor: Love and Thunder, the newest film from Marvel Studios, is less than a month away from its release in cinemas. And another eagerly-awaited sequel, titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is on its way to come out months after Love and Thunder storms cinemas. Due to Chadwick Boseman’s departure, the film will tragically unfold its tale without King T’Challa. However, returning characters like Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Shuri (Letitia Wright) will continue on the legacy that their Academy Award-nominated colleague left behind.
Wakanda Forever has not yet begun its marketing campaign, but a promotional tie-in with Sprite Zero Sugar has already been revealed. Here, we first see Okoye and Shuri doing the Wakandan salute. You may see it below:
Kevin Feige announced during Disney Investors Day in December 2020 that King T’Challa will not be recast. Since that declaration, rumors about who will assume the mantle of Black Panther have been flying continuously. Given their strong ties to T’Challa, some have considered Okoye and Shuri as potential successors, while others have speculated that M’Baku (Winston Duke) may potentially succeed.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated to swoop into cinemas on November 11, 2022.
