When it comes to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, many have high hopes. Namor the Sub-Mariner, for example, is expected to appear in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. However, it appears that he will not be the only figure from Atlantis to appear in the film. New MCU merchandise suggests that another Atlantean enemy will be unveiled!
The concept image for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever items has been published on Twitter. The first is intriguing because it shows Attuma, the Atlantean warlord. Look it up here.

Attuma was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and made its first appearance in Fantastic Four #33 in 1964. He is a nomadic Atlantean warlord who believes he was born to rule Atlantis, which causes him to clash with Namor in the comics.
It’s exciting that Attuma will be making his MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but he’s not the only Atlantean (at least in the comics) who now has some fantastic concept art that will be included on products. Namor the Sub-Mariner also received his own artwork, and the character looks to be getting a new design. You can find it here.
This should come as no surprise given that Namor’s origins will be altered in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Namor, according to the rumor, will be from a sunken city in Mexican culture, not Atlantis. Tenoch Huerta will play the son of a mortal and the queen of the aforementioned city.
Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Daniel Kaluuya, and Angela Bassett will reprise their roles in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie is scheduled to premiere on November 11, 2022.
