A fresh batch of photographs from the forthcoming Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson turns the spotlight towards the Justice Society of America (JSA) members.
The Justice Society of America was the predecessor of the Justice League in DC comics. Their debut in 1940 is tied to the first superhero team in comic book history. Now, the JSA is all set to make its big-screen debut in Black Adam, where Dwayne Johnson’s titular antihero will cross paths with DC’s first superhero team.
A new set of pictures gives an extended look at the members of Black Adam‘s Justice Society. It also rolled out Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone.

It is the very first time that any of these Justice League of America characters make a big-screen appearance. Below are photographs of the newest heroes in the DCEU.
Jaume Collet-Serra is at the helm of the film Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson as the title antihero, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Taking on supporting roles are Sarah Shahi, James Cusati-Moyer, Marwan Kenzari, and Bodhi Sabongui.
The release date for Black Adam is set for October 22, 2022.
