A brand-new image for Dwayne Johnson‘s upcoming DC movie features members of the Justice Society of America with the antihero Black Adam.

When the first Black Adam clip debuted online earlier this month, it gave fans their first look at the JSA heroes in action. Along with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, the new image provides a fresh look at Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone, and Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher.
Black Adam has appeared as both a supervillain and an antihero in DC comics. He is frequently portrayed as Shazam’s adversary because Shazam acquired his powers from the same wizard as Black Adam. While the JSA and Dwayne Johnson’s version of the character may at first disagree, it appears that they will eventually work together to fight a greater threat. This first appearance at least suggests that Dwayne Johnson’s version of the character is sticking closer to the antihero aspect of his character.
The main characters of the movie are depicted in the new poster against the symbol of Black Adam’s lightning bolt. Here is the latest poster for the next DC movie:
The DCEU movie, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, Marwan Kenzari, and Pierce Brosnan, was written by Rory Haines, Adam Sztykiel, and Sohrab Noshirvani.
On October 21, 2022, Black Adam will premiere in cinemas.
