The model will reprise her role in the third season of the Emmy-nominated comedy on the streaming service.
Bella Hadid is getting ahead of her ambition of becoming an actress.
The model has been cast as a recurrent guest performer on Hulu’s Emmy-nominated sitcom Ramy’s upcoming third season. It is still unknown if Hadid will portray herself or another character since those specifics are being shrouded in secrecy.
The scripted comedy, written and starring Ramy Youssef and partially based on his life, sheds light on what it’s like to be stuck between a religious culture that thinks life is a moral test and a millennial age that questions the existence of an afterlife.
The third season, which is currently awaiting a premiere date on the Disney-backed streaming service, finds Ramy and his family confronting the consequences of a life devoted to worldly concerns — and, in some cases, lies — while Ramy pulls out his spiritual journey in favor of his and his uncle’s diamond business. Additionally, Laith Nakli, Hiam Abbass, Amr Waked, May Calamawy, Dave Merheje, Mohammed Amer, and Steve Way feature in the A24 comedy, which is executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael.
Hadid, who evinces an interest in acting a few years ago, is the face showing up on the April 2022 issue of Vogue. She has already appeared in numerous other foreign editions of the journal.
