Baymax! Trailer Marks The Debut of The Big Hero 6 Spinoff on Disney+

Disney+ has released a new image of the forthcoming “Big Hero 6” spinoff animated series “Baymax!“

The most recent trailer for the series, which can be seen above, shows that Hiro (Ryan Potter) awakens to realize that his friendly robot has vanished. Baymax (Scott Adsit) is seen roaming the streets of San Francisco in an effort to help other people.

As a medical companion robot, Baymax often searches out individuals (and animals) with medical conditions, such as a lady with an ankle sprain and another with a backache. He also attempts to rescue a cat, but when he encourages the animal to “remain calm,” it pokes many holes in his body.

Baymax! is The Walt Disney Animation Studios’ first foray into the world of animated series. It will feature the voices of Scott Adsit, Ryan Potter, and Maya Rudolf as they reprise their respective roles as Baymax, Hiro Hamada, and Aunt Cass from the film that brought home the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2014. Emily Kuroda, Zeno Robinson, Lilimar, and Jaboukie Young-White are coming along for the ride as well.

The spin-off is the brainchild of original director Don Hall. It is helmed by Dean Wellins (Eps 1, 2, 6), Lissa Treiman (Ep 3), Dan Abraham (Ep 4), and Mark Kennedy (Ep 5) from a script penned by Cirocco Dunlap.
