Several behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of Warner Bros. Pictures’ live-action feature Barbie have hit the web as the production is getting underway. The film starring a star-studded cast is slated to hit cinemas on July 21, 2023.
The first glimpse of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling‘s respective roles of Barbie and Ken has been unveiled in the latest Barbie set photos. They have seen roller skating down the beach while putting on matching neon pink clothes.
The Barbie live-action film is headlined by Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad), who also serves as a producer under her LuckyChap umbrella. The celebrated filmmaker Greta Gerwig is seating on the director’s chair of the picture, where she co-wrote the script along with Noah Baumbach.
Besides Robbie, other cast members include Ryan Gosling as Ken, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Ariana Greenblatt, Emma Mackey, Alexandra Shipp, Issa Rae, and Hari Nef, Michael Cera, and Will Ferrell as the CEO of a toy company.
