Several of the key characters in Avatar: The Way of Water are featured in a new wave of posters for the much-awaited Avatar sequel.
Eight characters that will appear in the upcoming movie are depicted in the new posters, including Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Tonowari (Cliff Curtis), Ronal (Kate Winslet), Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), Kiri (Sigourney Weaver), Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), and Miles “Spider” Socorro (Jack Champion).

James Cameron co-wrote and directed the sequel. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, and Sigourney Weaver all make a reappearance in this film. Along with a number of young performers, the cast also included Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Jemaine Clement, and Oona Chaplin.
Avatar 3 is tentatively slated for December 20, 2024, Avatar 4 for December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 for December 22, 2028. Three more movies are in the works.
