
Avatar: The Way of Water by James Cameron has just dropped the first trailer, which brings audiences back to Pandora once again.
After 13 years since the box office juggernaut Avatar stormed into worldwide theaters, James Cameron returns to the world of Pandora in Avatar: The Way of Water. The first official trailer for the long-awaited Avatar sequel, which was released exclusively in cinemas this weekend alongside Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has finally landed online.
However, although the first trailer from James Cameron’s sequel doesn’t shed much light on the storyline of the film, it does offer us a glimpse of the spectacular vistas that await us when we return to Pandora. Here, we catch up with Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) as they face the impending peril in their life, which threatens their family and the rest of Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water cast includes Sam Worthington, Edie Falco, Sigourney Weaver, Joel David Moore, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Cliff Curtis, Zoe Saldana, CCH Pounder, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet. James Cameron is at the helm of the blockbuster from a screenplay he co-wrote with Josh Friedman.
The original release date for the film was set for December of 2014, however, it has been repeatedly shelved. For the time being, Avatar: The Way of Water is slated to swoop into cinemas on December 16, 2022.
