The budget for James Cameron‘s Avatar: The Way of Water is enormous.

One of the most costly Hollywood movies ever, Avatar: The Way of Water has a budget in the “$350 million to $400 million level,” according to reports. Marketing expenses are not included in the amount.
Avatar: The Way of Water is on track to have a strong opening weekend, according to early tracking data. When it debuts in theaters in December, it’s expected to bring in between $150 million and $170 million.
Avatar: The Way of Water was given a release date in China earlier this week. The Middle Kingdom will see the film’s debut on December 16th, the same day that it will be seen worldwide.
