James Cameron‘s Avatar 3 will feature Oona Chaplin, best known for her work on Game of Thrones and Taboo, as the head of the Ash People. In an interview with Empire Magazine, producer Jon Landau revealed the name of her character, Varang, calling the Na’vi tribe “an aggressive, volcanic race.”

The 2009 blockbuster success Avatar will have four proposed sequels, the third of which is titled Avatar 3. The movies will carry on Jake Sully’s saga, a former Marine who joins the Navi, Pandora’s native population.
With a $2.923 billion worldwide box office haul, the original Avatar film continues to hold the record. The Way of Water, the sequel, has now brought in more than $2.130 billion at international box offices.
With a PG-13 rating and a runtime of 3 hours, and 12 minutes, The Way of Water is around 30 minutes longer than the first installment of the Avatar series. Since it has a certified fresh rating on the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, the sequel is well-liked by critics. It has a budget of between $350 million to $400 million.
