Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Debut TV Series Unveils Nine Series Regular Actors, Including Travis Van Winkle, Fortune Feimster, Jay Baruchel, and More

The cast of the unnamed Arnold Schwarzenegger espionage adventure series has been unveiled, with Netflix and Skydance Television hiring nine actors as series regulars to join Schwarzenegger in his debut TV series role, as well as previously announced female lead Monica Barbaro. Travis Van Winkle (You), Fortune Feimster (The Mindy Project), Jay Baruchel (This Is the End), Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate), Fabiana Udenio (Jane the Virgin), Barbara Eve Harris (Station 19), Milan Carter (Warped!), Aparna Brielle (A.P. Bio) and Andy Buckley are among others on the list (The Office).

In addition, the project has cast five recurring characters: Devon Bostick (Oppenheimer), David Chinchilla (Reacher), Stephanie Sy (Seance), Scott Thompson (Hannibal), and child performer Rachel Lynch, according to creator, executive producer, and showrunner Nick Santora.

When a father and daughter discover that they’ve both been working as CIA operatives for years, they realize their entire relationship has been a lie and they don’t know each other at all in the unnamed series (also known as Fubar). The series explores universal family issues set against a global backdrop of espionage, action, and humor as the characters are forced to work together as partners.

The teaser opens with a look inside Lola’s fast-paced Los Angeles lifestyle, revealing her world of conference rooms and board meetings before her big announcement that she’s quitting her job. The scene shifts to the beautiful and peaceful Australian countryside, where the proprietor of Vaughn Family Wines informs Lola that she has “no way” of partnering with a first-time importer.

Lola persists in her efforts to persuade Ms. Vaughn to view her in a new light, but it isn’t easy. She fights with the sheep, falls off a tractor, and battles with those pesky international outlets. The teaser also teases Lola’s developing romance with the handsome Max, who may or may not be hiding a secret or two.

The roles played by the newly revealed cast are as follows:

    REGULARS:

Aldon, a terrific CIA officer and world-class wise-ass who is a lovely and sweet man beneath it all, will be played by Travis Van Winkle.

Milan Carter will play Barry, a lovable man-child and proud nerd who has worked closely with Luke for the previous 20 years as an American CIA official. Barry is a caring and talented cop who keeps Luke and his crew safe while remaining out of the spotlight.

Fortune Roo (short for Ruth), a sharp, sarcastic CIA officer who looks up to Luke as a father figure, will be played by Feimster.

She’s excellent at her job — incredibly talented and clever, albeit a little frightened by her new coworkers.

Carter, Emma‘s nice and clueless lover, will be played by Jay Baruchel (Monica Barbaro). Carter is a kindergarten teacher who is led to believe that his CIA officer girlfriend works for a non-profit that delivers clean water to those in need all over the world. He values his family above all else, but his love for Emma will be tested as he discovers several truths about her.

Boro will be played by Gabriel Luna, a very charming, Oxford-educated businessman who chooses to use his abilities in the illegal armaments trade.

Tina, an NSA analyst on loan to the CIA, will be played by Aparna Brielle. Despite her young, she is incredibly skilled and brilliant at her profession, though she is a little scared by her co-workers.

Tally, Luke‘s ex-wife and Emma‘s mother, will be played by Fabiana Udenio. She is unaware that the two are in the CIA, but has long been skeptical of Luke’s numerous “business excursions,” which have caused a rift in their relationship. Tally has moved on with her life, but the energy between her and Luke remains undeniable.

Tally‘s current boyfriend, Donnie, will be played by Andy Buckley, who is a laid-back guy. He is a considerate and cheerful influence in Tally’s life, but when he sees Luke (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is attempting to reclaim Tally, his positivity disappears.

Dot, the Regional CIA Director, will be played by Barbara Eve Harris. Dot is intelligent, authoritative, and frightening, and she is not easily fooled.

    RECURRING:

Oscar will be played by Devon Bostick. Luke and Tally’s kid and an ambitious software developer who has never met his father’s high standards.

Cain Khan, Boro‘s menacing first lieutenant who works in the illicit weaponry industry, will be played by David Chinchilla.

Sandy, Oscar’s supporting wife and mother of their daughter Romi, will be played by Stephanie Sy.

Dr. Louis Pfeffer, a CIA operative psychologist in charge of Luke and Emma’s combined treatment sessions, will be played by Scott Thompson.

Romi, Sandy, and Oscar‘s beautiful 6-year-old child, who has a particular bond with her “pee-pa,” Luke, is played by Rachel Lynch.

After starring in Season 3 of You, Van Winkle is returning to Netflix. He has just completed a multi-episode storyline on HBO’s Max’s Made for Love Season 2 and a guest appearance on CBS’ Good Sam. APA, Velocity Entertainment Partners, and attorney Karl Austen represent him.
