
Army of the Dead , directed by Zack Snyder, won first place in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ inaugural #OscarsFanFavorite contest, which was unveiled during the Oscar presentation on Sunday.
The competition, which began in a year when the Oscars’ theme is “Movie Lovers Unite,” was conducted using Twitter voting.
In the fan vote, Netflix’s Army of the Dead came out on top, followed by Amazon’s Cinderella, American International Pictures’ Johnny Depp- starrer Minamata, Sony’s box office record-breaker Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Netflix’s Tick, Tick…Boom!
