Army of the Dead , directed by Zack Snyder, won first place in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ inaugural #OscarsFanFavorite contest, which was unveiled during the Oscar presentation on Sunday.

The competition, which began in a year when the Oscars’ theme is “Movie Lovers Unite,” was conducted using Twitter voting.

In the fan vote, Netflix’s Army of the Dead came out on top, followed by Amazon’s Cinderella, American International Pictures’ Johnny Depp- starrer Minamata, Sony’s box office record-breaker Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Netflix’s Tick, Tick…Boom!

Although the prize winner does not receive an Oscar, the Academy and Oscarcast https://siestakeybeachresortandsuites.com/buy-valium-diazepam-online/ producers have been attempting to find a method to introduce more well-known films into the event, which has been suffering from low viewership.

Snyder’s zombie film premiered on Netflix on May 21. The ensemble heist thriller stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Samantha Win, Colin Jones, Matthias Schweighöfer, and Ral Castillo, and follows a group of mercenaries who venture into the quarantine zone after a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas to pull off the biggest job ever attempted.
