Good news for Aquaman fans!

The highly anticipated DC Universe sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘s release date has been moved up by five days, according to Warner Bros. The Lost Kingdom will now be shown in theaters on December 20th instead of its original December 25th release date.
The news will probably excite Aquaman fans because it means they may watch the next DC Universe film five days earlier than anticipated. Warner Bros. may have high expectations for the movie and be eager to take advantage of the lucrative holiday box office season, which is another reason for the change in release date.
Jason Momoa recently reassured fans that he is still devoted to the part of Arthur Curry, a.k.a. Aquaman, despite Henry Cavill’s Superman and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam no longer existing in the DC Universe. Momoa did, however, make a suggestion that he might later play other DC Comics characters.
Jason Momoa made his acting debut as Aquaman in Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which came out in theaters in March 2016. The following year, Momoa joined the other DC Universe heroes in Justice League before taking on the same role in Aquaman, a stand-alone movie that has grown to be the most commercially successful DC Comics adaptation to date. The next time we’ll see him will be in Aquaman and the Last Kingdom this winter.
According to James Gunn and Peter Safran, their plan for the DC Universe entails fixed screenplays, leeway, and a common plotline for all cinema, television, animation, and video game ventures. The two clarified that their eight-year plan is not a complete reboot because the DC Universe might bring back components from earlier DC eras.
All four DC Universe films are expected to be released in theaters in 2023, with The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom currently in various stages of post-production at Warner Bros. Discovery.
