
Anson Mount, who played Black Bolt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has finally spoken out about his upcoming part in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The narrative of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was kept under wraps, however, the involvement of The Illuminati was teased. Outside of Patrick Stewart’s portrayal of Professor X and a TV spot that revealed some of the organization’s members in a short and hazy manner, it remained unknown who made up the group. Inhumans actor Anson Mount returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Bolt to serve on the council.

For the short-lived Inhumans series, Anson Mount first debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Bolt. The series is widely regarded as the single worst thing the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ever produced. The program was allegedly willed into existence by Marvel to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans. It was also directed by the same man who directed the critically panned first season of Iron Fist. Mount’s distinctive performance, on the other hand, remains a highlight of the series, and it was definitely observed by those in control.
Anson Mount has broken his silence regarding returning to the MCU as Black Bolt for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in a recent Instagram post, expressing his appreciation for the chance to collaborate on the film:
