Angelina Jolie has reached a new multi-year deal with Fremantle and will helm her production company’s first picture, Without Blood. Aside from the well-known unscripted series, Fremantle’s recent projects include the scripted series American Gods and The New Pope. Since joining the MCU in The Eternals, Jolie has declared that she is open to returning to the franchise in future films.
It was recently disclosed that a three-year worldwide movie deal has been inked for three years between Jolie and Fremantle, with her first project being the film version of Without Blood, which she will direct. The film’s production is set to kick off in May, and Jolie herself adapted the screenplay from Alessandro Barrico’s famous book for the screen.
