In sipe of the fact that a report said that Amber Heard had lost her key role as Mera in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” a source claims that she has been discharged from the project.

Amber Heard’s spokesperson kindly shared that “The rumor mill continues as it has from day one — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.”
Previously, Heard took the main role of Mera in ‘Aquaman‘, also joining ‘Justice League‘ and the reconfigured “Zack Snyder’s Justice League.”
Due to a widely-known defamation trial, where her ex-husband Johnny Depp prosecuted her as she implied that he physically abused her in a 2018 Washington Post column, her star power has been messed up in recent months. As the jury claimed that Depp’s reputation and career has been ruined because of the publication, Heard is ordered to pay $350,000 in punitive costs and $10 million in compensatory costs for Depp.
Until now, although she is standing in front of a lot of controversies, petitions, and rumors from fans, Heard still joins Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as Mera previously in Justice League, Aquaman, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The project is now in post-production after finishing production early this year.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is planned to hit theaters on March 17th, 2023.
