Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness filmmaker Sam Raimi is the focus of a new featurette produced by Marvel Studios for the film.
First revealed at Comic-Con in 2019, Scott Derrickson was linked to the picture, and the film’s horror aspects were hinted at. Sam Raimi, the filmmaker of Spider-Man, was brought in to replace Derrickson because of “creative differences.”
Sam Raimi has always expressed his admiration for Doctor Strange, even when directing the Spider-Man flicks, and now has the opportunity to bring his take to the impending sequel. Of course, Raimi is also well-known for his horror films, and it seems like Multiverse of Madness was an ideal match. The sequel has been Raimi’s first movie since 2013’s Oz the Great and Powerful.
With Sam Raimi at the helm, the horror themes have been maintained for Multiverse of Madness, and a new featurette delves into what the superhero film veteran is bringing to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check out the featurette below.
