Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane have joined the cast of the John Wick sequel Ballerina.

Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane have arrived in Prague to begin production on Ballerina, the next John Wick spin-off movie helmed by Underworld and Live Free or Die Hard director Len Wiseman. The following movie starring Reeves and McShane will be John Wick: Chapter 4. They last appeared together in the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
Ana de Armas is starring in the movie Ballerina as the title character. The lead in the spin-off to John Wick is a violent woman who uses her skills to get revenge on the hitmen who killed her family. The film’s screenplay was written by Shay Hatten, who previously authored the scripts for Army of the Dead and Parabellum.
Ballerina‘s release date has not yet been announced, however, John Wick: Chapter 4 will debut on March 24, 2023. Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgrd, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Marko Zaror, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, and Rina Sawayama are also included in the Chapter 4 cast. The movie’s leading actors are Reeves and McShane.
In addition to Ballerina and John Wick: Chapter 4, Lionsgate is also working on The Continental, a spin-off series that explores the early years of Ian McShane’s Winston Scott. Colin Woodell plays Winston, and supporting roles go to Ayomide Adegun, Peter Greene, Mel Gibson, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, and Nhung Kate. The program is slated to premiere on Peacock in 2023.
